Sharp angles, geometric shapes and exposed concrete exude a distinct structural honesty in brutalist design, conducive to California’s indoor-outdoor way of life. These raw materials, minimalist forms and monochromatic palettes laid the foundation for Fall 2026. The Men’s Fall 26 Lookbook, photographed by Rich Stapleton in Los Angeles, CA.

The beginning of our love affair with brutalism. At the heart of Fall ’26 is an exploration of brutalist architecture and the tension between opposites. Its raw materials and uncompromising forms provide a striking counterpoint to the softness and fluidity of Vince’s textures, creating a dialogue between strength and delicacy, restraint and movement.

“Existing within a proud neighborhood and a small little community is something we feel incredibly fortunate to experience,” Baby Bistro co-owners Miles Thompson and Andy Schwartz reflect on what drew them to Alpine Courtyard. Contrary to what the name may suggest, the restaurant is a fully grown culinary delight. Before opening in its current, cozy Victorian space just 15 minutes from our atelier, Baby Bistro started as a pop-up in The Normandie Club — and sold out every night. It’s still just as popular as a brick-and-mortar, boasting a hyper-seasonal menu and ever-changing wine selection. Visit our stories for more of our conversation with Thompson and Schwartz on how they curate it all, the story behind their name, and what they’re most excited about in the next chapter of LA’s restaurant scene.
