Overview
The ShopVision MCP Server exposes ShopVision's competitive intelligence dataset through the Model Context Protocol, making live pricing, promotion, assortment, and MAP data available to any MCP-compatible AI platform, agent framework, or development environment.
Teams use it to build custom workflows that surface competitive answers inside the tools their analysts and agents already work in, without needing to export data or build custom integrations from scratch. Confirmed brand coverage includes Patagonia, The North Face, Nike, Adidas, and Lululemon.
Typical setup
The ShopVision MCP server is configured using a standard JSON connection block in any MCP-compatible host. Authentication uses an API key issued from the ShopVision platform. Once connected, all ShopVision data tools are exposed as callable functions the AI agent can invoke.
Most teams start by connecting the server to their primary agent environment and running a small set of competitive queries against known brands. From there, the connection extends naturally to scheduled workflows, Slack outputs, and other downstream systems. The server is stateless and does not require persistent infrastructure on the client side.
