InstagramPicnic wines should be fresh, food friendly, and easy to drink, nothing too heavy, especially on a warm day. 🧺🍷 That’s why these three made the cut: bright acidity, juicy fruit, and lighter styles that are delicious with a little chill. 🍷 Marc Brédif Chinon — fresh, vibrant, and savory 🍷 Planeta Frappato — light, fragrant, and bursting with juicy red fruit 🍷 Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages — bright, fruity, and effortlessly drinkable Three reds, one picnic blanket. Three estates, each with a family behind it: Domaine Ott in Provence, Ramos Pinto in the Douro, and Roederer Estate in Anderson Valley. Rosé, Port, and California sparkling wine in one sitting. Billy Galanko, DipWSET, Director of Marketing at Wine.com, leads each conversation, with Jean-Rémi Barbier of Maisons Marques & Domaines setting the scene between stops. Domaines Ott has been in the family for four generations, and Managing Director Jean-François Ott is the fourth. Marcel Ott bought Château de Selle in 1912 and was shipping Provence rosé to the United States by 1933, the year Prohibition ended. Clos Mireille and Château Romassan followed, across Côtes de Provence and Bandol. CEO Jorge Rosas descends from Adriano Ramos Pinto, who founded the house in 1880. Unlike most Port shippers, the family owns about 90% of the vineyards it draws on, the highest proportion in the Douro. That estate base also supports the Duas Quintas still wines launched in 1990. Arnaud Weyrich, VP of Production and Winemaker, arrived at Roederer Estate as an intern in 1993 and has led the winemaking since 2002. Champagne technique, Anderson Valley fog, and a long growing season. L'Ermitage is the one to know. ⏱️ CHAPTERS 00:00 Welcome and Lineup 05:20 Introducing Domaine Ott 07:46 Haute Couture Rosé 16:13 Underrated Bandol Reds 25:25 Introducing Ramos Pinto 35:41 Tawny vs Ruby Styles 37:48 Serving and Pairing Tips 43:55 Roederer Estate Origins 46:46 Anderson Valley Terroir 51:24 Portfolio and Cuvées 🍷 Shop these producers: Shop Domaines Ott: https://www.wine.com/list/domaines-ott/5981 Shop Ramos Pinto: https://www.wine.com/list/ramos-pinto/7747 Shop Roederer Estate: https://www.wine.com/list/roederer-estate/8080 Subscribe for more conversations with the world's great winemakers. #Rosé #Port #SparklingWine

Meet the minds behind Bergström, Castello di Volpaia, and Schramsberg, three Wilson Daniels estates spanning Oregon Pinot Noir, Chianti Classico, and California sparkling wine. Billy Galanko, DipWSET, Director of Marketing at Wine.com, leads each conversation. Advanced Sommelier William Davis of Wilson Daniels sets the scene between stops. Federica Mascheroni-Stianti opens up Castello di Volpaia, the eleventh-century walled village above Radda in Chianti where vineyards were first planted in 1172. Her family began restoring the estate in 1966, and today its high-altitude Sangiovese is lifted and perfumed, with the freshness to evolve beautifully in the cellar. Hugh Davies, president and CEO of Schramsberg since 2005, was born in 1965, the year his parents bought the abandoned Calistoga estate. For six decades its wines have helped define traditional-method sparkling wine in California and proved Napa Valley could produce sparkling wine of genuine complexity. Josh Bergström farms five estate vineyards in the Dundee Hills, Chehalem Mountains, and Ribbon Ridge without herbicides, pesticides, or systemic chemicals. Contrasting volcanic and marine sedimentary soils give wines of remarkable purity that serious Pinot Noir lovers seek out. ⏱️ CHAPTERS 00:00 Welcome and Webinar Series 01:46 Wilson Daniels Origin Story 05:20 Introducing Volpaia in Chianti 07:43 Medieval Village Winery Tour 10:12 Chianti Classico and Radda Explained 12:38 Volpaia Wine Range and Single Vineyards 21:54 Schramsberg Family History 24:17 Sparkling Wine Tiers and Aging 27:40 What Makes Schramsberg Unique 41:27 Meet Josh Bergstrom 45:09 Biodynamic Farming Philosophy 51:38 Recent Vintage Guide 57:30 Webinar Wrap and Next Events 🍷 Shop these producers: Castello di Volpaia: https://www.wine.com/list/castello-di-volpaia/8947 Schramsberg Vineyards: https://www.wine.com/list/schramsberg/8931 Bergstrom: https://www.wine.com/list/bergstrom/6909 Subscribe for more conversations with the world's great winemakers. #PinotNoir #ChiantiClassico #SparklingWine
