“Everything is in every size, which is honestly so fun to even say.” We chatted with Abi about the Pinterest board behind the collection, why Universal Standard was the right partner, and the pieces she’s most excited to wear. Shop Universal Standard x Abisola Omole now in sizes 00–40

Introducing Universal Standard X Abisola Omole ✨ Abisola Omole to the internet, Abisola Omole is a creative director, interior designer, writer, and tastemaker whose work is defined by a distinct eye for shape, texture, color, and the unexpected. When we asked what she’d design if nothing was off limits, she chose tailoring: sculptural Ponte, a cape with buttonholes that match back to the blazer, faux suede in fall’s must have colors, and a polo sweater in blue named after her. The result is a wardrobe with a point of view: architectural, unfussy, a little louche, and unmistakably Abi. With every piece designed in sizes 00-40 from the very first fitting.

At Universal Standard, we believe clothing sizes should reflect the people actually wearing them. So, here’s where our sizing gets a little different. Instead of starting with a size 6 like most brands do, our Medium and sample size is an 18–20, which reflects the average size of the U.S. shopper. We then grade our styles up and down from there, giving us one continuous size range from 00–40. When it comes to finding your size, we want to make that process as easy as possible. We’ve put a lot of thought into our size charts, and every product page has fit recommendations, style-specific size charts, and customer reviews to give you a better idea of how something will fit. And if you’re still not sure, our Customer Experience team is always here to help with sizing recommendations and fit questions. Have a burning sizing question we haven’t answered? Drop it in the comments and we’ll help where we can!

What does it actually mean to be size-inclusive? For US, it means more than extending a size range. It means questioning how clothes are designed in the first place and making sure different bodies are considered from the start. That’s why we design every style in sizes 00–40, with fit at the center of the process. Because size inclusivity shouldn’t mean having access to more sizes. It should mean having access to the same fashion experience.

Getting dressed gets a lot easier when you stop asking your clothes to change the way your body looks. For so long, we’ve been taught to look for the “most flattering” cut, the most forgiving fabric, or the piece that will hide whatever we’re insecure about. But what if clothes didn’t have to do any of that? What if we focused less on dressing to disguise our bodies and more on finding pieces that fit, feel comfortable, and make us feel like ourselves? You deserve to get dressed without constantly thinking about what you need to hide. Your clothes should support you, not make you feel like you need to fix yourself first.
