I picked up a Godox AD400 Pro from @kehcamera in Bargain Grade condition for $282.53. It’s got a few bumps and scrapes, but nothing that bothers me. It’s a used strobe, not a museum piece. I figured I’d unbox it on camera and show you what you actually get when you buy Bargain Grade from KEH. And now I’m curious. Go find me a cheaper AD400 Pro on eBay or Facebook Marketplace. Three film stocks, three totally different looks. Swipe through and see how each one handles color, contrast, and grain. 📷 Portra 400 is the workhorse for a reason. Warm, true-to-life skin tones, fine grain, and enough latitude to handle a bright afternoon and a dusky street scene without missing a beat. Cinestill 50D was built for motion picture sets, and it shows: rich, saturated color and that signature halation around bright highlights. Florals and daylight scenes come out especially vivid. Fujifilm 400 leans cooler and punchier — blues get bluer, contrast is more pronounced, and it holds up well in flat, overcast light without going muddy.
