Exactly one week ago, the vernissage of our „Shared Skies“ event took place in Berlin-Mitte. For one evening, Berlin’s community gathered at the freshly-opened Lifestyle Store on Neue Schönhauser Straßer and we couldn’t be more proud. Thx everyone for passing by that evening! „Tasked with bringing art into the new Hoka store in Mitte, we at Network Network again turned to performance as inspiration. Silently pairing two sets of artists, we asked each to use a provided text as inspiration to build a dialogue via art. Giulia Vacarro, Joachim Perez, Niklas Thyen, and Rory Midhani worked on the two sets of sister pieces together, each begining on one piece and exchanging to finish what their partner began. Connor Howieson documented the process and Alissa Fink produced a beautiful piece of sound to bring it all together.
