One of our most asked questions: Do we use mRNA vaccines? The answer is no. At Seven Sons, we do not use mRNA vaccines, and we have no plans to adopt them. Our approach has always been to raise healthy, resilient animals through regenerative farming, quality nutrition, low-stress environments, and thoughtful animal care. Watch the video to learn more, and if you have questions, leave them in the comments! We’re always happy to answer them. 🐄

The brooder barn got a little louder and a whole lot cuter this week. 🐣 We welcomed 3,600 baby birds to the farm, and they’ll spend the next three weeks here getting a good start before it’s time to head out to pasture. They won’t stay this little for long, but they’re always fun to watch during these first few weeks so stay tuned!!

This was after about an inch of rain here in Indiana. On the right is conventionally managed soil. Because it is often tilled and lacks continuous plant cover and root systems, the soil structure is weaker and less able to absorb water. As a result, much of the rain runs off the surface, carrying away valuable topsoil and nutrients (and often washing off chemicals and fertilizers as well). On the left is soil from our farm, managed using regenerative practices. By keeping living roots in the ground, minimizing disturbance, and encouraging diverse plant growth, the soil develops better structure and organic matter. This allows it to act more like a sponge, absorbing and holding water where it can support plant growth and livestock while reducing erosion and runoff. ♻️🌧️ This difference is why regenerative soil practices matter, not just for the land itself but for the health of the animals raised on it and the long term sustainability of the farm.

One of our favorite parts of the year is welcoming folks out to the farm. Pictures can only tell part of the story. Getting out here, seeing the animals on pasture, and asking questions face-to-face is a whole different experience. 🌱 Farm tours are underway, and we’d be glad to show you around.

Last August, we shared our family's vision for creating more spaces where we could welcome guests to the farm. One of those projects was a farm pavilion nestled in our walnut grove. At the time, it hadn't even been built yet. With the support of our customers, and especially nearly 600 founding Regenerative Investor Club members, that vision has continued to take shape. Ten months later, we welcomed our first guests for our very first Farm-to-Fork Dinner. 🌱 It was a special evening. Seeing people gather around the table and enjoy a meal raised on the farm made all the work worthwhile. We're grateful to everyone who has supported these projects and helped bring this vision to life. Here are a few photos from the evening.

Every herd has a troublemaker 😂🐄 Our cows are on the move! With rotational grazing, we regularly move the herd to fresh pasture while grazed areas get time to rest and regrow. That recovery time helps support healthier soil and better forage.
