What denim would you dare to try if you knew it would fit your body? @penningtons continues to put plus-size bodies first, and it’s so incredibly cool to see the feedback we’ve shared being put directly into action! This is the first time I’ve EVER tried 4 different styles, all in the same size, and they’ve fit my body on the first try. That’s a BIG DEAL. I’m a tall gal! I’ve been a lot of different sizes in this body. Before kids, through my pregnancies, postpartum and now again in a new season. Jean shopping has never once felt easy through any of it. The cut that worked two years ago doesn’t work now. The wash that looked good last fall looks off this one. I’ve stood in more fitting rooms than I can count, wondering why something this simple felt this hard. What I actually want isn’t complicated. A jean that fits the body I have right now, not the one I used to have or the one I’m supposed to get back to. Something stylish enough that it doesn’t feel like a compromise. Something timeless enough that I’m not rebuying it every season. Something that just feels like me. That’s what sent me to a styling session with @penningtons. Tried on a few. One actually got it right. If you’ve been stuck in this same fitting room spiral, tell me. What’s been the hardest part for you, the fit, the wash, waiting for your body to “get back” to something before you’ll even buy? I’d love to know I’m not the only one.
