The details matter—even down to the outlet covers. For this project, we plastered directly over Legrand adorne wall plates, allowing them to disappear seamlessly into the surrounding finish. Instead of interrupting the wall with a standard plastic cover, the outlets become part of the architecture. It’s a small detail, but thoughtful details like this are what turn decorative plaster into a complete design experience. Hardwired. Plugged in. Or powered by USB-C. The Quilt Dial is a smart thermostat for the Quilt mini-split system, and the flexibility in how it gets power is something I haven’t seen before. We’re hardwiring it on this project. For a retrofit, you could use the plug-in adapter—or power it from a Legrand USB-C PD receptacle like this one. That keeps both standard outlets available, leaves another USB-C connection open, and the screwless cover gives it a clean finish. I'm currently putting the system through its paces. More to come.
